Welcome to Beaver & Tapley's new 84,000 sq ft factory in
Nottingham.
The following pages will give you a unique insight to the intricate
process of producing some of the finest furniture in the U.K..
Beaver & Tapley uses modern computer controlled machinery to
enhance the skills of traditional craftsmen ensuring your
cabinet is produced to the high standards you have come to expect from
this quality British cabinet maker.
The total quality of Beaver & Tapley furniture begins right at the
very beginning of the production process. This cutting machine will cut
panels to a very high accuracy, and being computer controlled, stores
the precise measurements for all our panels.
Our veneers (all from sustainable and farmed sources of course) are
some of the finest in the world, and are carefully selected for each
panel to ensure that the grain matches on every set of doors and drawers. Every
vulnerable panel also
has a solid edge, so it is not as susceptible to knocks and scrapes
around the home.
This complex machine can be programmed to drill a large number of
holes simultaneously and to an incredible accuracy, ensuring that every
panel fits together without any movement and loose joints.
